The hanging hands holding buttons and things...
script continuity problems? maybe... somebody wasn't doing their job...
maybe....
but maybe it is all part of the setup for the 3rd movie... another
critter loose on the ship, disembarked without being seen, is
procreating somewhere in the dark corners of San Diego, will be flushed
out into the open by a land developer putting up one last batch of
condos... and THEN! MAYHEM!! RUNNING!!! SCREAMING!!! LOTSA MORE $$$ FOR
SPIELBERG!!!!!

or maybe just some lousy continuity editing...
disembodied hands/intact cabins/oblivious port staff (as a T. Rex
crashes through the gates, rumbles by....)/morphing stegos/morphing T.
Rex feet/docile 'baby' T. Rex carried by tender-hearted human saviors
turns vicious beast eating tender human captor/etc etc etc....

ok, so lets all take a breath and say, together, in one great agreement
and flash of awareness...

IT IS ONLY A MOVIE! FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY! NOT FOR SERIOUS SCIENCE!
MADE BY PEOPLE WHO MADE STUPID CONTINUITY AND CONSISTENCY AND FACTUAL
ERRORS! BUT STILL MADE A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY! SO WHO'S LAUGHING NOW!?!

For a PBS special on 'the real dinosaurs'... hold your breath! this
stuff is still real expensive to put together! and considering the
publics willingness to reward fantasy and special effects over honest to
goodness science, where do you think a Hollywood producer is going to
sink his money...? Unless Speilberg wishes to give up some of his
overly-abundant wealth to such straight, educational projects, it just
won't be...
