Bio

Just the facts-
--T. Mike "Jesus" Keesey
--19
--Sophomore at University of Maryland, College Park (currently taking Tom
Holtz's Dino class)
--Computer Camp Counselor
--Live in Bethesda, MD
--Majoring in Computer Graphics (as soon as I transfer to a school that
actually *has* that major...)
--I was a major dino freak in elementary school, constantly reading and
re-reading books about them (I must have checked out A Field Guide to
Dinosaurs about 60 times). Then I started getting interested in other
things: sci-fi, art, programming, mammal taxonomy, film, etcetera.
--When I came to college last fall and got on the Internet I started to
re-gain my interest. It shocked me to discover that so many things had
changed (tyrannosaurs are coelurosaurs? megalosaurs aren't carnosaurs??
*we're* *osteichthyans*?!?), but I soon got caught up. Now I run a
Dinosaur Web Page at the following URL:
        http://www.wam.umd.edu/~tmkeesey
It contains tons o' essays, in-depth cladistic classification, and many
pictures by myself, Brendan Smith, and Rachel K. Clark. Come visit!
--I have vowed to go on a dinosaur dig sometime before I die.
--Lurking on this list is great. The newsgroup s.b.paleo was all right for a
while, but here we're safe from Holden's babbling. We can communicate
about the glorious creatures known as dinosaurs in an intelligent manner.
So much information, so many interesting discussions...Keep it up!
