             As one who eats cassava regularly, I am very grateful for the
fact that someone can prepare it proprly! It truly is delicious. However, to
my knowledge, the fruit that carries the cashew, the "cashew apple" IS
edible. When my wife and I went to Trinidad a couple years ago, I made it a
point to find a cashew tree but to no avail, mostly because I was not able to
get out into the sticks!
