DINOSAUR ARGUMENT: THE RESOLVE

Bob Bakker changed his mind about pterosaurs being dinosaurs ages ago. Don't
forget that he wrote Heresies back in '87 (or earlier). Hell! He was including
rhynchosaurs amongst the Archosauria then! 

At present, the unanimous opinion is that pterosaurs are a dinosaur sister-
group, and thus NOT NOT  NOT dinosaurs, no doubt at all. 

But.....

According to Phil Currie, there's some new research suggesting that pterosaurs
are actually derived theropods. Gasp! Shock! Horror! I've asked him for the
ref., but he hasn't got back yet. If the proposal is at all believable, well...
it would change everything.
