(COPY) Donald Ryder Dickey

Donald Ryder Dickey (1887-1932) was a southern California naturalist and photog
rapher.  He put together a large library, bird and mammal collection and a phot
ographic collection.  These are all at UCLA.  Dickey apparently corresponded wi
th number of people and I am looking for any correspondence from Dickey that mi
ght be in other collections.Dickey might have corresponded with Carl Akeley, Th
eo. Roosevelt, William Beebe, and Alexander Wetmore.  There were probably other
s.  When Dickey's collections came to UCLA there wasn't much of a correspondenc
e file with them.  Any help would be appreciated.
