Interesting.

Not mentioned was that the two hominids were found by Richard and Mary
Leakey's Daughter-in-law, Maeve Leakey.

Also not mentioned is the National Geographic article coming up on it, since
they were major funders of the trip.

Further discussion in the article I read (San Francisco Chronicle) had an
interview with a gentleman from the UCBerkeley Anthroplogy Dept that said the
early hominids may not be directly in line with humans, they're so early,
they could be a disfunctional family group that went off on it's own.
