Other way around: was first The Album of Dinosaurs and The Album of Prehistoric 
Animals, and later combined. There were a lot of
other good "The Album of..." books: a Prehistoric Man one, but various modern 
animal groups, astronomy, etc.

Man, this thread has been a MAJOR nostalgia trip!
