An Albertosaur Apart
I feel the need to pester you all about this merely because I am looking for
data that I do not currently have and tyrannosaurids are my current focus.
http://www.dinosauria.com/jdp/trex/albert.htm
Does anyone feel that the specimens do constitute a separate species APART
from the 'albertosaur'-grade taxa currently given specific names, i.e.
_Gorgosaurus libratus_ and _Albertosaurus sarcophagus_. Also, does anyone
still consider _G. sternbergi_ to be a separate species? And does anyone
consider that _A. arctunguis_ is valid and referrable to _Gorgosaurus_, as
discussed briefly (with no real data mentioned) in the page mentioned above?
Final bothersome question is this, are the albertosaurs a grade or clade?
