Thanks for response. I understand Division = Phylum in botany, but it has 
also appeared in zoological classifications. Likewise Cohort. Would like to 
know whether there is a standard placement for Division and Cohort among the 
usual seven ranks in zoological taxonomy (Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, 
Family, Genus, Species). I suspect from mammal taxonomy that Cohort lies 
between Class and Order (since the orders of Mammalia are organized into 
cohorts).
