DINO Smell

Could not the _Tyranosaur's_  ability to smell be determined by 
the ammount of space deticated to the olfactory nerve in the 
brain case.  I remember seeing something on this on The 
Discovery Channel, but cannot recall what it said.  

Another question to be posed:  could part of the nasal cavity
that is being reviewed be used for smelling pharaomes (sp)?
THis cavity being seperated from the normal nasal cavity 
by cartilige and causing the nasal cavity to appear larger?

The dimensions of the entire cavity have probably been marked
out correctly but, it is a sorry man indeed who dosn't ask questions.
