Re: live birth

Since apparently no sauropod eggs have been found, is it reasonable to
postulate that perhaps sauropods gave live birth? Their huge bulk would seem
to make live birth a possibility, and huge bulk is an advantage to creatures
that give live birth, inasmuch as it provides insulation and protection to a
fetus which can be allowed to develop to a more advanced level of maturity
before expulsion. --Merritt Clifton, editor, ANIMAL PEOPLE.
