Time from time children are asking me "how cute were newly hatched babies of Tyrannosaurus rex"? "Did they also have proportionately large eyes (and the whole head), would they seem cute to us mammals"? I guess so, since baby birds and crocodiles seem also cute to us. I have found an estimate of its size here:
https://dinosaurusblog.com/2018/11/19/jak-velky-byl-cerstve-vylihnuty-t-rex/ . According to an estimation by Peter Larson (quoted there), T. rex hatchling was about 92 cm long with 10 cm long head and 51 cm long tail. It was about 33 cm tall at the hips and its legs were 28 cm long. Are these estimates still plausible or are there some newer and "better" ones? Thank you in advance! Tom
