I will say that at least this particular study is addressing a question relevant to understanding tyrannosaurid biology when compared to other dinosaurs. That's more than can be said about some other recent theoretical studies that didn't offer particular insights into tyrannosaurids or Tyrannosaurus rexÂrelative either to other dinosaurs or to other fauna past and present.

It can't be helped. Tyrannosaurs are tyrants and want to dominate the media just like they dominated North America and Asia in the Cretaceous. Even extinction can't stop them! Forget "The Walking Dead"--it's now "The Stalking Extinct"!
