Edmontosaurus Project at Senckenberg Natural History Museum

Not yet mentioned, the current issue of the Naturmuseum Senckenberg
magazine Das Senckenberg-Wissenschaftsmagazin 150(4-6) highlights the museum's Edmontosaurus project, in which large blocks containing multiple bones of Edmontosaurus and other fossils were transported intact from Wyoming last year to the museum in Frankfurt to be prepared in public. The Senckenberg Museum already has an Edmontosaurus "mummy" in its collection (a skeleton with skin preserved), purchased with help from a wealthy patron in 1911 from the Sternbergs (who had found it in Wyoming) and nicknamed "Edmond" after it was prepared at the museum.

The articles are all in German and can be read online. Â
