Classification: Reptilia, Squamata, Mosasauridae, Plioplatecarpinae

Holotype: IRSNB R35 (Old IRSNB 3111); Fragmentary skull and fragmentary skeleton

Referred material: IRNSB 3099, 3103, R 36 (old 3100),3107, 3108, 3155, 3160, 3859, 3154, 3152, 3130, 3122, R37:

size: ~ 5.5 meters long

diet: Piscivore/Carnivore.

age range: 70.6 to 66.043 Ma (Cretaceous, Early/Lower Maastrichtian)

location: Ciply, Hainaut Province, Belgium (50.4Â N, 3.9Â E: paleocoordinates 43.0Â N, 3.0Â E)

horizon: Mons Basin, Craie de Ciply Formation, Brown Phosphatic Chalk

paleoecology: Shallow marine carbonate setting.

Classification: Reptilia, Crocodylomorpha, Thalattosuchia, Metriorhynchoidea. Metriorhynchidae (marine crocodile)

Holotype: LOST (destroyed in WWII)

size: ~3 meters long

diet: Piscivore/Carnivore.

age range: cymodoce ammonoid zone, Early/Lower Kimmeridgian, Late Jurassic (155.7 - 150.8 Ma)

                originally considered: Bathonian in age

location: Calvados, Lower Normandy, France (49.9Â N, 0.3Â W: paleocoordinates 40.6Â N, 9.5Â E)

horizon: (aka: Gracilineustes acutus type locality)

paleoecology: marine; lithology not reported

                Note: Has skin impressions.

age range: Middle Cretaceous, middle Cenomanian

location: Left flank of the Ouadi al Gabour near the village of Nammoura, Kesrouaune Caza, Mohafazat, 10 km southeast of Hadjula 23 km northeast of Beirut, Hakel, Kesrouane Province, Lebanon. (34.1Â N, 35.7Â E: paleocoordinates 12.9Â N, 30.3Â E)

horizon: Sannine Formation, en NammoÃra, upper quarry (unit 3b) aka: al NammoÃra, al Gabour, AÃn el GÃrboÃr

paleoecology: lagoonal/restricted restricted shallow subtidal; tabular, intraclastic, gray, green wackestone shallow in Lebanon
