Re: [dinosaur] New taxon



Since it is a dissertation-only name, it is really a good idea not to talk about it yet in a public forum. Let the process take place.

(For instance, it might have turned out that Boyd's additional work resulted in realizing it wasn't new. Also the final name may wind up be radically different: Lurdusaurus was going to be "Gravisaurus", for instance.)

Clint Boyd
has just been uploaded to Academia. Published in 2012, but I have not seen any mention of it previously. It is a PhD thesis and contains a new taxon which presumably has still not been formally published - Skaladromeus goldenii
