The results from the second edition of The Survey of Paleoartists have been published online. Designed and written by David Orr (of the Love in the Time of Chasmosaurs blog), I believe this to be the most comprehensive overview of the field yet assembled. From David's intro:
"The Survey of Paleoartists is intended to shed light on the composition of the paleoart community, how its members work and make a living, and how they perceive the field. Taking responses from March 1, 2019 until July 31, 2019, it drew 648 respondents from around the world. This is an increase of 298 respondents over the survey's first outing in 2017. We are excited to share our findings, and hope it spurs conversation about how paleoart can grow as a respected, sustainable field."
