[dinosaur] Paleogene armless tyrannosaurids
Good day,
recently I have seen an
hypothetical restoration of Paleogene armless tyrannosaurids by Gregory
Paul, descended from the Late Cretaceous small-armed tyrannosaurids,
perhaps _T. rex_ itself. I would like to ask if there are any scientific
papers or articles concerning this topic (i. e. whether tyrannosaurids
would lose their arms completely during another few millions of years)?
If I recall correctly, the same (complete loss of arms/front limbs) is
postulated for advanced abelisaurids. Thank you in advance!
