Transmitting Science is offering a new on-line course: "Introduction to Statistical Analysis in Palaeontology and Archaeology", June 1st-5th.

Instructor: Soledad De Esteban-Trivigno (Transmitting Science, Spain)

Course fee registering before April 30th: 296 € (238.8 € for Ambassador Institutions). After April 30th: 370 €.

Payment is not required at registration.

Course Overview

This course is aimed to introduce participants on the basic concepts of statistical analysis, through examples belonging to the fields of palaeontology and archaeology. There will be lectures combined with exercises.

More than understanding the mathematical basis of each statistical analysis, this course is intended to provide each participant with the tools to develop and statistically test different hypothesis.

We will be using free user-friendly software (PAST).
