Playing it straight here... 'Rutellum impicatum' was "named" in 1699.
It's a tooth, probably from a cetiosaurid, mentioned by Delair and
Sarjeant (2002). Like 'Scrotum humanum' (the famously 'well-hung'
megalosaur) I doubt 'Rutellum impicatum' qualifies as an official
binomen.
_Epidendrosaurus_/_Scansoriopteryx_ was named in 2002. Due to its
weirdness (though it seems less weird now, or at least weird for
different reasons), it was one of the more newsworthy fossil
discoveries of that year.... taking nothing away from
_Incisivosaurus_, _Sinovenator_, _Anabisetia_, _Liaoceratops_, etc.
