Some new taxonomic items:

V. Demirjian (2019)
Camptodontornis gen. nov., a replacement name for the bird genus Camptodontus Li, Gong, Zhang, Yang, and Hou, 2010, a junior homonym of Camptodontus Dejean, 1826.
Zootaxa 4612 (3): 440

Camptodontus yangi Li, Gong, Zhang, Yang, and Hou, 2010 was erected for a complete enantiornithine bird skeleton from the Early Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation in Liaoning, northeastern China (Li et al. 2010). However, the genus name Camptodontus is a junior homonym of the beetle genus Camptodontus Dejean, 1826. Under Article 23.1 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN 1999) Dejeanâs 1826 name has priority.

The Late Palaeozoic temnospondyl Sclerocephalus haeuseri Goldfuss, 1847 is known from numerous specimens and formations in the Lower Rotliegend sequence of the Saar-Nahe Basin, SW Germany. The type specimen was long believed to be lost, and therefore a neotype was determined. A diagnostic partial skull, curated in the palaeontological collection of the University Lyon 1, is identified as the original type specimen, which is herewith reinstated. Both holotype and neotype are consistent with further hypodigm material in numerous features, distinguishing it from samples of other localities and horizons.
