[dinosaur] Soft tissue preservation possibilities

I was listening to paleocast and the recent interview with Evan T.
Saitta, and he seems fairly insistent that no soft tissue samples from
the cretaceous period is chemically all but impossible.  That would be a
scientific shot across the bow of works from  Mary Schweitzer and would
seem to be inconsistent with Dakota and Leonardo.

Does anyone have any incite for this conflict.  Leonardop, seems to me,
to be hard to deny.
