Come on, man, you don't even have to ask the list: you know more than this!

It is impossible to have found an Ornithomimus (or ornithomimid) tooth, as they DIDN'T HAVE ANY! So Smit clearly has misidentified it.

However, misidentification aside, a google.scholar.com search on "mexico tektite maastrichtian mosasaur tooth" finds:

This describes the site. The photos of concern are Fig. 9. In the paper the ID these no more than "vertebrate tooth."

Was this find already published and/or is anything else known about it? This could be evidence of non-avian dinosaurs living at the K-Pg boundary and witnessing the horrific event itself.
