T. rex Tristan Otto (currently on display in Berlin) very likely had a tumor in its lower jaw, as revealed by a CT scan, and suffered pain when it bit. The swelling on the jaw was noticed earlier (thought at first to be an infection) but now has been studied in more detail, as explained by Oliver Hampe. (in German)
