"Dreadnaughtus" size and battleship names (think: "Yamato")
Uncloaking for the first time in about 8 years, as the topic of Dreadnaughtus
has brought up the battleship analogy that is so near and dear to my heart.
"Yamatotitan" would indeed be a great name for an uber-sauropod - if we could
ever find a giant skeleton complete enough for verification that it would
indeed be worthy of the honor.
As far as Battleship Yamato goes, in one of my (many) other lives I am an
amateur historian. Anyone interested in the history of the real WW2 Battleship
Yamato is invited to peruse my Internet Yamato/Musashi Archive Photo gallery:

Cheers!
