A non-dino item that may be interest.

Archaeologists in Germany have found remains of Homotherium in the
same 300,000 year-old site as spears and stone items made by Homo
heidelbergensis, indicating the early humans in Europe must have dealt
with a dangerous saber-toothed predator.
