It was a surprise to me too.  But no surprise to Andrea Cau, I'm sure.    :-)


Does that mean _Balaur_ was secondarily flightless?  Was it the Hateg
equivalent of a dodo?  (A very scary dodo...)

That would be Jeholornithidae, I guess.
