On that point, some skulls named _Monoclonius_ are actually very large
- larger than those of many _Centrosaurus_ skulls.  For example, the
type skull of _Monoclonius lowei_ (NMC 8790) has a frill that is much
longer than that of the _Centrosaurus_ holotype.  Yet, "_Monoclonius_"
is usually regarded as a sub-adult _Centrosaurus_.
