_How_ brief? 10, 15, 20 minutes? 45 minutes?

Diversity in space and time (emphasize that the Cretaceous alone was longer 
than all of the time that has passed since!), basic phylogeny including the 
origin of birds, a few points from the recent paper on how sauropods managed to 
grow to unparallelled sizes... and some "how we know what we know". Maybe even 
explain radiometric dating in a sentence or two.
