Plotosaurus chevrons?

I am doing a skeleton of Plotosaurus, which in previous restorations lacks 
any chevrons under the anterior half of the tail. That just does not seem 
right. Is there definitive evidence of whether or not the anterior half of the 
chevrons were present? I have already looked at some of the literature and 
asked others, so only those with a definitive answer one way or another need 
reply. If there is no answer I will go ahead and add the chevrons, can 
always remove them later if necessary.
