 It is 15 m high and over 25 cm in diameter

A log of similar diameter, assigned (in the 19th century) to *Calamitesgigas*, stands around in a hallway I pass every day here in the Museumfür Naturkunde. (Paleobotany storage, not exhibition.) I'll measure ittomorrow. :-)
