The type specimen of _Archaeornithoides_ shows evidence of the jaws
being been bitten off from the braincase. "The bite marks point to a
predator or scavenger in the size range of deltatheridiid mammals,
which abound in the Bayn Dzak assemblage." (Elzanowski and Wellnhofer,
1992).
