Dear colleagues,
A new Triassic(?) or Jurassic fern was discovered in western Cuba a few years
ago. All that I know is this:
"Además, se ha colectado un nuevo helecho jurásico o triásico, perteneciente a
la familia de los Hilmenofitales (según especialistas de la Universidad de
Pierre et Marie Curie de París, Francia), un pequeño helecho de difícil
conservación, del cual apenas hay una docena de especies descritas (com. pers.
Dr. José Bienvenido Diez Ferrer, Universidad de Vurgo, España".
Someone can tell me something about "Hilmenofitales", please? I search in
Google "Hilmenofitales" and nothing appears.
I have a picture of the Cuban fern, for if some expert would like to add any
comments on this specimen.
