I think there may be some confusion going on here. Greg's measurment is based 
on a single apparent specimen, and the projections derive from that. The 
problem is that someone in this thread started applying this specific 
projection generically, rather than using various different specific 
projections to round out the generic trend (in this statement, "generic" and 
"specific" are not being used in their taxonomic forms). So when one of you is 
talking about "mamenchisaurs," and another is talking about *Mamenchisaurus 
sinocanadorum,* or a specimen thereof, you are talking past one another.
