Writing the straightforward truth is a good option!  Cite Wikipedia and 
include the web address of the relevant page.  My web stuff on cynodonts has 
been cited in a couple of thoroughly respectable publications as having been 
helpful in some way or other, and those authors blamed me and cited the url.
