Re: Herrerasaurus - what was it?
Well, it certainly looks like a theropod, at least as much as an ichthyosaur
looks like a dolphin.
I'd guess the factions are whether theropods and sauropods split before or
after Herrerasaurus.
If they split after, that means that the last common ancestor of sauropods &
theropods was very theropod like.
