Harryhausen calls it, "Trannosaurus al". It was Arthur Hayward who actually
sculpted Gwangi. Ralph wrote about it here:

As for myself, I don't see much of a resemblance to Knight's Field Museum
mural. Harryhausen's production drawings are clearly based on Knight's first
Tyrannosaurus paintng at the American Museum. See Harryhausen's book, _An
