They do.
The _Pseudotribos_ paper maintains a Middle Jurassic date for this
formation
...which is still doubly wrong: the Daohugou beds are above the Jiulongshan
Fm, not part of it, _and_ the Jiulongshan Fm lies above, not below, the
volcanic layer that dates to the Middle-Late Jurassic boundary. The whole
area, which consists of a roller-coaster landscape 1000 m above sea level,
is so wildly folded that it really is possible to confuse above and below.
