When pterosaurs ate dragonflies
Hey folks,
I've been meaning to get around to doing this for a while: does anyone
out there know anything about the Solnhofen dragonfly that's alledgedly
had a bite taken out of its wings by a pterosaur? Ultra-keen fans of
fossilised pterosaur trophic interactions can find a picture at:
http://www.pterosaurier.de/libelle_mit_pterosaurierbiss_01_o.jpg
I believe it was described in Archaeopteryx and may have had something
to do with Helmut Tischlinger, but I'm otherwise pretty clueless - like,
more than normal. Does anyone know anything else about this specimen,
have a reference for the paper or, even better, have a convinient pdf to
hand?
Any help would be most appreciated.
