You know that a bird brain is structured completely differently from a mammal brain, right? Far less space, and far greater efficiency. I think a mammal brain the same size and weight is mostly full of water, so - yeah, it would weigh alot. LOL!

My budgies know this. I'm constantly getting "Mammal Brain" looks from them. (I'm just good for bringing them seed - and all that goofy mammal brained nutritious stuff I try to feed them.)

Mammals and dinosaurs diverged at nearly the bottom of the land animal family tree, and the difference is amazing.
