Probably not. In the currect case, it's island
naivity; these birds simply know no terrestrial
predators, and haven't for a long time. And even that
all birds evolving in absence of mammalian predators
are naive to them does not hold true - replace the
albatross with a weka and you'll get a dead mouse and
a well-fed weka.
Then again, there is (or rather was) Hateg Island,
where this actually might have happened.
