Small nitpick--"differences between birds and dinosaurs" is,
technically, as nonsensical as "differences between bats and mammals."
A minor rephrasing fixes this:

"We hear so much about how birds share many morphological traits with
*other* dinosaurs, but the differences -- as  you listed, of those we
hear of not so much..."

Good general point, though.
