Pteromimus affinities
I should have done this earlier.
Pteromimus affinities do indeed include pterosaurs. More so with
langobardisaurs, however. The dentition is primitive, resembling that
of Macrocnemus T4822, the current phylogenetic precursor to
langobardisaurs. Otherwise, the bulging frontals, descending
parietals, large orbit, antorbital fenestra without fossa, elongated
non-terminal naris and elongated cervical are all characters found in
this clade. And the size is about right.
What I wrote earlier about scutes, a thick fibula and parallel
metatarsals evidently pertains only to Procoelosaurus, which is
something else.
