Along with the aforementioned fish, there are also the
multitudes of _Hyphalosaurus_ and _Keichousaurus_
fossils; many of which show these agonized poses.

None of these counts. They all have their necks bent laterally, not dorsally. That's something water currents can achieve. Also note that, in the first photo, only the base of the neck is bent at all.
