Etymology: Amarga, referring the fossil locality; titanis (Greek),

Actually, *titanis* is specifically a female titan.
Also, in case anyone ever takes it into his/her head to make this genus
the basis of some higher-level taxon, the stem is *titanid-*:
Amargatitanididae, Amargatitanidoidea, Amargatitanidini, etc.
