by time (not to mention place). I would recommend researching the
specifics of whatever paleo-ecosystem you're trying to recreate
rather than simply lump together a bunch of plants you know were
around by dinosaur times (which would be like reconstructing a
Holocene habitat with a mixture of acacias, spruces, and saguaros).
Acacia and saguaro is a perfectly normal combination in southern
Arizona though you would have to go uphill a bit to find Engelmann spruce.
