re: The importance of Qianosuchus
Further looking on Google (with the correct spelling, thank you!) has revealed
one early mention on the DML (abstract only) and a bunch of great pictures of
the insitu fossil. What I was wondering about were things not shown on Matt's
drawing, such as the palate and pedal details. All of these are revealed in the
specimen photos.
Matt's drawing seems pretty close to the mark.
And it's nice to see that itty-bitty proximally-directed calcaneal spur!
