Re: *Dalianraptor cuhe* and *Sinornithosaurus haoianus* (short!)

This is irrelevant, however, as the ICZN does not permit respelling a name
anymore because gender issues between epithets is incorrect or the gender
applied to an honoree is "wrong".

It apparently allows wrong gender endings of nouns that contradict the sex of the honoree. It does apparently not allow wrong gender endings of adjectives that contradict the gender of the genus name.
I think Articles 34.2 and 31.2 are unambiguous:
"The ending of a Latin or latinized adjectival or participial species-group name must agree in gender with the generic name with which it is at any time combined [Art. 31.2]; if the gender ending is incorrect it must be changed accordingly (the author and date of the name remain unchanged [Art. 50.3.2])." http://www.iczn.org/iczn/index.jsp?article=34
"A species-group name, if it is or ends in a Latin or latinized adjective or participle in the nominative singular, must agree in gender with the generic name with which it is at any time combined." http://www.iczn.org/iczn/index.jsp?article=31

I remember reading about some people having wanted to change this (when the current ICZN edition was being produced) and having been defeated.
