Fabulous fossils of Berlin
Do you dream of making an all costs paid research visit to the fabulous fossil
collections of the Museum für Naturkunde, Berlin, home of Archaeopteryx,
Brachiosaurus and literally millions of other fossils?
Do you live in an EU country (or associated state - see below)?
Then apply to SYNTHESYS by Friday March 17th for funds to support your visit.
All you have to do is fill out a simple online form (go to www.synthesys.info
for details) and get a supervisor/head of department or similar to write a
brief supporting statement. If your project is supported you will receive full
funding for all travel and hotel costs and daily living expenses. You can vist
for just one day, or up to 60 working days, although most of our guests come
for about 10 days.

Irrespective of their nationality, applicants resident in the following
countries can apply to SYNTHESYS for funding to visit the MfN, Berlin:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France,
Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta,
Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United
Kingdom plus the Associated Countries of the EU: Switzerland, Iceland, Israel,
Liechtenstein, Norway and Candidate Countries of the EU Bulgaria, Romania and
Turkey. (Note residents in Germany are not eligible for funding to visit the
MfN, Berlin).
