It has never been demonstrated that these are not post-mortem disattached
actinofibrils or other structures. There is presently no evidence that I am
aware of that indicates that they are hair-like structures (structures with
function similar to that of hair, whatever their actual makeup).

wing membranes with what appear to be fine, short, repeating hairs that
cover
the membranes. These membranes being structurally different than bats'
should
not force comparisons to the ways bat wings work or operate, though bat
wings
also do have hairs on them.
